Hourglass ambient lighting blush and Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution

I fell in love with these two from the very first time I saw them. I mean, who wouldn’t? look at that packaging! But these products are much more than just a pretty face. They are exceptional at what they do.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting blush: when I saw this product for the first time I was immediately drawn to it. The ambient lighting formula intrigued me, it's supposed to capture, diffuse and soften surrounding light with groundbreaking Photoluminescent Technology. So after seeing that they had a blush version of the powder I had to buy one.

I have to say that this blush has become my favourite blush, my hand always gravitates towards it in the morning when im doing my makeup, because it looks very natural, it never looks flat and the colour is buildable, so you can go for a subtle or full on cheek.

The ambient lighting blush comes in 7 gorgeous colours, the one I have is in the shade dim infusion, and although its quite pricey (£28.00), I might end up buying another one.

Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution lipstick: This world renowned British makeup artist launched her brand in 2013. As I respect and love her work I decided to try out her line, and started with the Matte Revolution lipstick. This product is supposed to create the illusion of wider fuller lips, but I wouldn't necessary agree with that. I do like the finish this lipstick gives you, the fact that even dough it's a matte lipstick it doesn't dry out your lips and of course the colour! Mine is in the shade amazing grace, it's described as a vintage tea rose. And for those of you wondering it retails for £23.00.
