Foreo Luna

The Foreo Luna is a facial cleansing device that uses T-Sonic pulsations. This device comes in 3 different variations; the blue Luna is targeted for combination skin, the pink one is targeted for normal/sensitive skin and the white Luna is targeted for ultra sensitive skin.

The main reason why I bought this device is because of the brush surface of the device that is made out of round non porous silicon touch points. That means it resists bacteria build up making it more hygienic than a classical bristle brush cleaning device. It also doesn’t require replacing the brush heads.

The way the Foreo Luna works is quite simple. When you turn on the device it will begin to emit T-Sonic pulsations, which basically consists in tiny vibrations targeted to loosen the dirt inside your pores and therefor achieve a deep cleanse while being gentle on the skin. This device is meant to be used for 1 minute. After the minute has passed if you press the middle button again the device will go into anti-aging mode. This time you use the back of the devise that has concentric silicone ridges that emit lower frequency pulsations.

This device is water proof, so you can use it in the shower if you like.

I personally own the blue Luna and I really like it. I have used it for the past 10 months and its gentle enough to use twice a day. I didn’t experiment any irritation and after every use I always feel my skin softer and smoother. Surprisingly I have never had to recharge it, I know surprising right? The battery is incredibly long lasting.

I highly recommend the Foreo Luna if you´re in the market for a facial cleansing device. It is a bit expensive, retailing for £145. But if you compare it to other facial cleansing devices the prices are very similar and at least with the Luna you don’t have to keep replacing the head every 3 months.
