Primer for your lashes?

Whilst I was browsing my local news stand I spotted that Elle magazine were offering a mini Benefit product with their December issue. So of course I immediately had to buy it.

The product was in fact the They´re Real Tinted Primer. I’m not really into eyelash primers but I decided to give it ago.

This product claims boost length, lift and separate lashes. To be perfectly honest I didn’t see the point of this product. If you apply it on it´s own it slightly defines your lashes in a very natural way, it doesn’t look like you applied anything to your lashes. So if that’s the look you like then this primer might be for you. But if you use it as a primer, layering a mascara on top it won’t make any difference. It’s just an extra step with no added length, volume or separation.

I’m all for face primers and eye shadows primers, but lash primers are really not my thing.
