I've been thinking about wether or not to purchase the beauty blender for a few moths now, by far it's the most raved about makeup sponge ever but it's sale price kept me from taking the plunge. I mean what can this particular makeup sponge do that a under five pound budget alternative makeup sponge can’t? But being my curios self I decided to buy it, and see what all the fuss was about. And I am so glad I did. Lately I’ve been having a lot of trouble trying to leave my foundation looking streak free and as natural al possible, I tried using various face brushes and even using my hands but nothing did the trick until I tried the beauty blender. It actually leaves an airbrushed look on my skin, blends like a dream, it's really easy to use and there are no streaks to be seen. It really is worth every penny.

Basically you just wet the sponge until it expands and it's saturated with water and then just squeeze the excess water out and towel dry. Then I pop some foundation on the back of my hand and dab the sponge and bounce it all over my face.

As this particular sponge is quite pricey I wanted to get the most wear out of it it so I decided to also buy the soap that comes with it. And I have to say that it cleaned my beauty blender perfectly, the only but I have, is that it not only eliminated the foundation that was on it ,but it also made the colour of the sponge fade. So I don’t think i will try cleaning my brushes with it just in case.

I am really happy with the result I get with the beauty blender and I don't see myself reaching for a foundation brush anytime soon.

Have you tried the beauty blender yet? If so, I would love to know what you think.
